An Instrument to Provide ICT Investment Strategies for European Public Administrations

Work Package 6 (WP6): Demonstration and Evaluation of PICTURE

The objectives of WP6 are:

• develop an evaluation framework and measurable success criteria for PICTURE
• introduce the PICTURE pilot into the working PA’s environment and evaluate it in the real environment
• create an Evaluation Summary Report comprising the results of the demonstration and evaluation activities.

Demonstration and evaluation of PICTURE solution will be conducted in the context of the framework and success criteria defined in the first stage of the project, in the terms of functionality, technology and legal aspects for verification of the procedures, usability, organisational acceptance, performance, interoperability and components of the solution. The PICTURE pilot will be tested in the real environment by future users of the solution at PAs participating in the project. The feedback of the evaluation will be taken into account to improve the final version of PICTURE and the results of trials will be introduced in the final evaluation summary report.
